I've been registered for ages and have had loads of fun browsing, adding favourites, thinking hmmm.....maybe, but I just made my first real purchase! Excitement.

Sniff Sniff 2....

As promised I have sniffed my way through my Angela Flanders perfumes in my quest for my new signature scent. Before I give my review I just need to say I think everyone should have a go at venturing away from the big name brands and finding something a little bit more unique. It feels so much more special and exciting!

OK here goes:

Look what I ordered!

4 samples of perfume + 1 free sample of perfume of the month from Angela Flanders Perfumer.

Ever since I used up the last of my Delicious, bourbon vanilla scented Il Profumo perfume and decided it was far too expensive to buy again I have been on the hunt for a replacement. Not necessarily a match but something equally striking and memorable and most importantly something which most people would not be able to identify as that one that smelt in Boots. No offence Boots.

So I have decided to test these. I have started with Ambre Noir.

So far, so good.

Love your clothes? Really love em? Well then show them you do and look after them! I've just seen a brilliant guide to taking care of vintage clothing, at Mooky Chick but I apply these methods to delicate or extra special pieces too. And most importantly, underwear.

I was going to make my own guide to hand washing but why bother when this one is brilliant?

I do not claim to be an art fan, I do not know enough about it but I recently started noticing Tracey Emin's work with neon lights. Told you I was no art fan, some of them are years old.

I have always, always had a thing for neon signs, its my tacky side once again, and I have started loving Emin's neon lights.

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside....

I just spent a few days in  gorgeous, wild and windy Whitby with the boyfriend who has a bit of a thing for looking at wool (he was given balls of it to play with as a child and I guess it stuck?) so we went into Bobbins the little wool shop/museum. Anyway the point I'm trying to reach is that they had a small display about traditional fishermans jumpers or ganseys. Each village had their own patterens which allowed a fisherman to be identified and returned home should he be found washed up upon the shore. This may sound grim but it makes sense.

Anyway I highly doubt I'm going to be found washed up on any shores (fingers crossed) but I still like the look of these weatherproof jumpers. I'm thinking huge, oversized and worn with some super tight trousers.

Oh and if you happen to be out that way I would definatly reccomend that you take a little trip to Sandsend and book yourself in for dinner at the woodlands for your tea. Yum.

Oh beehive...

2 posts in one day?!?!? Whatever next?

I can't believe no one ever told me how awesome Hairspray is! I watched it last night. New one, old one is now on my lovefilm list. And it reminded me about ho much I love wearing my hair in a mini beehive. I just need to work on getting it massive now so I can get kicked out of class for my huge hair. And just wait til I put all that cupcake pink dye I bought in it!!!

And it starts tomorrow. I don't have a bike, nor have I rode one since I was a little un but heres some pretty awesome bike related clothes to get into the spirit with.
