Saltdean lido -1938Blimey, heatwave or what?!? I feel sorry for those Londoners. Anyways what I would rather be doing right now is dunking myself into a cooling pool, preferebly an outdoor pool. Preferably the kind of outdoor pool that had its heyday in the 30s. If this weather keeps up I will be begging someone to take me to Ilkley Lido at the weekend. And if I had the pennies I would be doing it old school, like it should be! If you love a lido, tell us where! Keep us all cool please.
Your only problem now is which swimming cap to wear! (You don't want to be ruining any dye jobs with all that sun and chlorine now do ya?)
