Eye eye...

I have recently returned to wearing eye make up that isn't just liquid liner and mascara and I am loving it. But seeing as I thought I had given up on eyeshadows I had thrown loads out! Maybe I should treat myself to a some of these fantastic ones from Limecrime - apparantly so bright they're illegal. Also would love to press some of the red glitter over my lipstick for drag queen worthy lips.

I need.....

Ignore the rather dodgy name of this website (evening lady?!?!?!) because good grief I would do anything for these shoes from PLeaser Bordello, anything that is except perhaps become.. ahem.... an evening lady.

And double gosh these ones (below) have reversible sequins! Reversible sequins? Oh yes, brush them one way for one colour and the the opposite way for a different colour!!!!

Brrrr

Whilst hanging around town post enrolement I had a wee peruse in Topshop and fell a weeny bit in love with this cable knitted headband/hatty thing. Mmmm cosy, must be this weather.

Anyways, whilst still loving this I came across this lovely cable knit covered tea pot at Hannah Zakari. oooh how lovely for those chilly mornings rolling in. Tetleys anyone?

Ooh suits you...

MEN! I am talking to you, or at least the girlfriends, best friends, wives of said men. I am bored of men in suits. Cheap pinstripes are faaaaar from sexy and as for the choices of shoes! Well just look at the floors in your nearest city at lunchtime, rush hour etc. Blah. Since when does smart = bland? Take a tip from these guys and learn what it means to be well suited.

The Sartoralist

I mean yeah its only blue hardly ground breaking, but at least its not grey or black, and it shows that you don;t have to leave style at the office door. Topman have some trousers for prices that won't break the bank and Underground England for shoes in a huge array of colours and textures (Pssst ladies these lovely shoes start in a UK3 so you don't have to miss out on the well heeled action)

Fancy that!

Anyone who knows me will know I have a serious, serious thing for beautiful undies. Knowing that under the rattiest pair of jeans lies super sexy smalls is one of those small pleasures that makes me smile, and the smile on my face is huge today after coming across Ophelia Fancy. They do silky, sparkly, playful, sexy, fun or flirty. There are bras, knickers, stockings, pasties, garters, abso-bloody-lutley anything you could wish for really. And possibly the prettiest dressing gown I have seen ( to add a bit of luxury while spilling toast crumbs down yourself?) Oh well birthday soon, haha.

Feeling Ruff(le)

I have developed a few obsessions lately, one being getting my hair ginger and the other is ruffles. I have ruffles and frills on the brain, but the problem is I want them BIG, I don;t care where I have them as long as they are big, bold ones. I want them to stand out otherwise whats the point. But on my limited budget this is so hard. But I think this ruff may come pretty close to satisfying my ruffy needs.

Scorchio - cool down the old fashioned way

Saltdean lido -1938

Blimey, heatwave or what?!? I feel sorry for those Londoners. Anyways what I would rather be doing right now is dunking myself into a cooling pool, preferebly an outdoor pool. Preferably the kind of outdoor pool that had its heyday in the 30s. If this weather keeps up I will be begging someone to take me to Ilkley Lido at the weekend. And if I had the pennies I would be doing it old school, like it should be! If you love a lido, tell us where! Keep us all cool please.
Your only problem now is which swimming cap to wear! (You don't want to be ruining any dye jobs with all that sun and chlorine now do ya?)
The classic floral?

The funky ruffle?

Or make like Keira Knightley in Atonement with a chin strap?
